Find the NIA 12367 mini-program in WeChat or Alipay to fill in the China arrival card wechat alipay mini program (the NIA 12367 service). Add your passport, flight and hotel details, submit, then screenshot the QR code. You can also start from the desktop form at s.nia.gov.cn or follow our complete desktop walkthrough.
This is an independent guide for Singapore-based travellers, not a government site. We don’t charge anything and we don’t file the card for you. Check the details and dates on the National Immigration Administration’s platform before you fly.
Who Needs the Mini-Program, and When?
Most foreign visitors do, and you can file up to 72 hours before you enter China. The online form is available through the NIA 12367 app and its WeChat and Alipay mini-programs. For the timing rules, see our guide on the 72-hour filing window for Singapore travellers.
Online filling started on 20 November 2025, per the notice on online submission. It’s a digital entry declaration, not a visa. It covers air, land and sea arrivals, and paper cards remain a fallback.
Filing is free on the NIA’s channels. A third-party site that charges a fee isn’t one of them — read up on how to avoid paying for the China arrival card online.
Seven groups don’t need to file. Not sure you’re one of them? Check the full exemption list before you leave.
- Holders of a valid Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card of the People’s Republic of China
- Holders of a Mainland Travel Permit (non-Chinese Hong Kong or Macao residents)
- Group visa or group visa-free travellers
- 24-hour direct transit passengers who stay in the restricted area
- Passengers entering and leaving on the same cruise ship
- Travellers using the e-channel

Common Mistakes and Quick Fixes
- The passport scan fails. Improve the lighting, avoid glare on the laminated page, then check the data read from the photo and correct anything misread.
- You picked the wrong port or flight number. Submitted forms can’t be edited, so file a new declaration with the correct details.
- The address has an English hotel name only. Enter the full address in China: province, city, district, street and building number.
- Your phone number has no + or country code. Re-enter it with + and the country code.
- You filed outside the window. File within the 72 hours before you enter China.
- You opened the wrong mini-program. Search for the NIA 12367 mini-program again.
Read your passport number twice before you tap submit.
Changi Timing, Paper Backup and Arrival Hall
You can file before you leave home, as long as you’re within the 72-hour window. Activate your eSIM or roaming before you land in case the connection drops. Your QR code should already be saved offline.

If the digital route fails or your battery dies, paper arrival cards are available at selected ports of entry and at immigration counters. Fill one in before inspection. Worried about your battery? Charge up and pack a power bank. Our comparison of the digital vs paper arrival card explains which option suits Singapore travellers.
In the arrival hall, some checkpoints have self-service devices for filing the card. Hotels register foreign guests at check-in, so bring your passport.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is the china arrival card wechat alipay mini program free to use?
Yes. Filing is free on the NIA’s own channels, including the mini-programs, the app and the web forms. A website that asks you to pay isn’t one of them. Use the mini-program or the desktop form instead.
How early can I fill in the china arrival card wechat alipay mini program before my flight?
Up to 72 hours before you enter China, counted from your arrival rather than your departure from Singapore. Keep your saved QR code ready for the border.
What should I type in WeChat or Alipay search to find the arrival card?
Search for NIA 12367. Choose the result from the National Immigration Administration.
Is there a web form if I can’t open the mini-program, and what is its address?
Yes. Use the desktop form on a computer. There’s also a separate NIA 12367 app for iOS and Android.
Can I edit my China arrival card after submitting it?
No. Submitted forms can’t be edited, so file a new declaration with the correct details. Label or delete the old screenshots so you don’t show the wrong one at the counter.
What should a Singapore passport holder enter in the visa field when entering visa-free?
Type VISA-FREE in the visa field. Form layouts can change, so check the live form before you submit.
Can I submit arrival cards for my children from my own phone?
Each traveller needs their own declaration, and the NIA platform sets out how filing works for accompanying travellers. Check the details there before you submit, and save any QR code under the traveller’s name so you can find it quickly.
What happens if my phone dies or has no signal at immigration?
A screenshot saved in your offline album opens without a signal. If the phone is dead, ask for a paper arrival card at the immigration counter and fill it in before inspection. Paper cards are available at selected ports of entry.
